Close quarters

Close quarters

Huddled together in each others arms
We keep warm meeting our lips
On colder days we burned older poems
Unwrapped the sweaters on your hips
To keep our hands warm against each other
When we kissed I knew you’d be my lover

We slept on adjoining steps to keep watch
Got cautious when the snoring stop
Bi-weekly battling back pain
Trying to stay dry when it rain

We would separate to make you shelter eligible
It hurt me to my heart, I’m telling you
To see those eyes on those days
Your smiling face and simple waves
Reminded me of you
Beautiful.

Even when we found accommodations
Quarters were close too close for relations
I just wanted to snuggle with you
For all we been through
I never would have made it, that’s true
I’m thirsty for more so time to drink you
So that you and I can become we
Enjoying any quarters no mater how close they may be.

Public Statement

Public Statement

Good day,
I want you all to remember this day
I got a lot of good things to say
First off my findings were the public like’s poetry
Made by me and the poetry to the right and left of me
These words were flipped, turned, tossed, and re written
People fall off the edge of their seats to listen
Something’s are unexplained
Consistency is not sustained
We needed to deny ourselves excuses
Bend dictionaries to its many uses
I recommend these things and a few more
Like defy subject matters and change
Do strange things to effect change?
Strategize, plan, and strike while the irons hot
Be prepared to go on the spot
Organize words & flows correctly
I'll assure you if you let me
Thank you in advance, learn your lesson
For being patient I'll take questions

Sleeping Pills

Sleeping Pills

I really want to sleep
I popped some pill this cold night
Towards my bedroom I creep
It’s in my blurry sight
As I cling to a hallway wall
Stumbling
On my knees I fall
Tumbling
Now crawling through the door
I fell asleep on the floor
Awaking in what seemed like days, but its hours later
I drag into the bed where its safer
The comforter wraps me tightly, I drift
First lightly, until my mouth releases a stream of spit
I'm physically sleep mentally awake, lonely
Spiritually
I'm hearing sound
Can’t finalize the voice
Sounds familiar "That's Mom"
In a haze making my way to the kitchen
"Good Morning cereal or oatmeal?" Make the decision
My brother creeps up from behind and pushes past
I couldn’t so nothing but laugh
Faint beeps from what seems to be the microwave
Voices scream, “Fight, it’s your life we're trying to save"
Those voices get louder, "Fight, FIGHT"
Eyes spring open to a white coat site
I'm in the hospital, starting to feel pain
Pounding in my brain
Eyes close; this has to be a dream
When they open again tubes in my mouth & nose
Tingling sensation in my fingers & toes
So much light
Everything is white
Thinking I'm hungry what’s up with the meals
Doctor walks in, asks what I take. My faint voice says Sleeping pills

thou art

thou art

Why is it that church people?
Think that because they in church, they have no equal
To us "regular" non every Sunday folk
They can cheat on their spouse, go for broke
Thou art made of stone and bridged by chains
Yet separate by the ills of humanity
These people will break up your marriage, with no regrets
These same birds in a flock rally around a pastor
Whose upward climb isn’t as expatiate as his plunge faster
The flock accepts tide bribes in the name of the man
To build, rebuild or sustain what no devil were to tear down
Unless he built it up, now they celebrate the sound
Oh ha's & hymns that make no sense
Sermons move mountains and raise suspense
With onlookers flocking and animals running away
Thou art spinning tales of truth, more true lies
Bending to the needs of demon cries
Thou at as holy as thee claim
Stop leading sheep to the slaughter in the good man’s name.

FADE TO BLACK. ~Fin~ END CREDITS

You're the

You're the

I can feel you, as the air rises out young lungs, air
Failing the system inside you, fair?
Maybe it is for me to watch you sleep
Out the corner of my eye I creep
Looking at the perfect shape that is you
Curled up with your arm entangled in mine
We kissed as we went through
The dance of preparing to sleep
I am falling for that twang in your accent
You seduced me, unknowingly
Forcing me, to test my loyalty
To me, myself, and I
You're more than a regular woman, you're a phoenix
Rising from the ashes to erect statues in presence
No need to worry about your confidence in the matter
You can make the seas part, water scatter
All things considered you're a 10

Calientita

Calientita

Hola mami I love how them hips swing
You really know how to do the dam thing
Got my hypnotized
At the imprint of what’s between those thighs
We held hands as sex burned into the floor
Rain drops burned on contact with our skin
We traded places while in the river we swim
The river of sexual pleasure I captured you.
Hold you down and pound you from the back
Hold the back of your neck before the moan come through
We’re not equal in the sac
Your ride hanging off the side
Blood rushing, you love sex suicide
Cow girl let em hear you ride
As we only exist
In this tantric bliss

Getting it in

Getting it it

I can feel you
I tried not to really
The beauty that was your lips always seemed to grace my mind
I mean it felt like I knew you
Its kinda silly
But your spots I didn't have to find
Those personal thoughts we shared
The times you cried and I cared
Those stolen moments from the rest of the crowd
The moments you wanted to hurt so we both screamed loud
I remember them and that's why tonight we need to get it in

We need to make it official, to exactly what it is
Is it more than we both see
I know some have been put out there by me
I can eat that bite the bullet
Do we need to shift up our gears?
Of the clutch pull it
Just to get in

In those narrow minded sessions
Where our minds are the only protection
Where the doors of emotional close
Animistic nature is whats left to chance
Our No's and yes do a sentimental dance
Closed mouths don;t lead to a pleased owner
I didn't want to own her
Just get some time with her that's all
Guess we need to get it in, or at least i do to get this solved.

nodding off

She says I cheated on my husband with another man
I wanted to run from my husband as fast as I can
My weak legs wouldn't carry me
He beats me mentally
Torments me spiritually
Thats just what I can tellyou, the rest u can see
Eyes wonder, soul change
There is something strange
Going through her eyes, her minds burns
Reading through the scripted pages she learns
This was just a dream sequence in as the world turns.

I'm not just a poet

I'm not just a poet

I'm a man with a voice booming over speakers
Enough to rattle bodies and open peepers
I'm not just a poet who can press pen to paper
Put voices to words, tongue cuts like a razor
I'm not just a master of vernacular, a wizard with the flows
I can take you high at night like crows
With two lines from my dual layered book
Read Slowly, first three pages I swear you're hooked.

I'm not just a poet; I'm larger than life usually
My verbs and nouns flow fluidly
I'm not just a poet I'm a healer, I'm a brother, I'm a son
I'm a reader, a lover, a friend, I'm second to none
I'm not just a person who can put three lines together freely
The one who, talk slow secretly
I can manifest my plan at forever discreetly
My words are written closely, miss reading can be costly
Because just when you think you figured me you lost me
I'm not just a man, not just a son, but I'm a poet.

Jesus Said

Jesus said

Walking by the church Jesus said come in
“I can’t”
He stopped me from walking
Made me turn around
Doors opened with a thunderous sound
COME IN he commanded
I fell to my knees about to ask why
Light covered my eyes
I saw pimps who became preachers
Messengers who are rappers
Drug dealers undercover as teachers
Jesus said come in so he can show me
There is nothing he can’t see

Pencil

Simple subtle glances from our meals
Her grey eyes are giving me the chills
I disappear from your sight you peer into my book
To see sketches of her sexy look
She scribbled an address on the corner of the page
Packed and left quickly to set the stage.

My head spinning
Quickly had to make a decision
The book I'm gripping
My loins I give a listen

Scented candles from the hallway
My mouth dry, couldn’t bring my lips together to say
Open doors, music so light, let me in
Walking up she said “Time to begin"
"Sketch me artist, sketch me"

Now she’s in front of me covering up with a sheet she laid softly
On the bed
Arm on the side of her head
One leg on the other covered by the bed spread
Whispered moans at how free
She feels in front of me
"Touch me, Touch me"
She breathes

As a comfortable, uncomfortable heat rises
My pencil hits the paper, the sheet slips from her shoulders
I finally get to see her smooth brown skin
I reached over to stroke her face
Moved the hanging hair
The pencil moves, the sheet does to
She says touch me, my hands slides over her torso

I sketch with fever in my blood
Wanted so bad to get a view of her love
The pencil jets to the covers of her hips
Sheet falls to the floor, she moans "feel me"
Clear fluid coated in the inside of her thighs
The same was captured on the sketch
She's getting the chills from the breeze

On this moment I'm intoxicated by the highs
My fingers spread the lead for effect
Her fingers she lightly selects to press on her lips
Lightly sucking on the tips
My pencil outlines the muscles in her legs to her feet

From the side I see her hand disappear
Wet sounds and soft moans is all I hear
She continues like I'm not even there
I reach out slowly and my hand mimics her movement
Touching the back of her hand following the motion
She moves and lets me take charge, to tastes her fingers
Sucking slowly the taste lingers
My fingers spread her lips
Middle one brushes against her clit
Then dips right in
Stand then bend
To where she gets hot
She clenches her thighs tight when I hit the g-spot
Pleasure filled pain expression
Look better than any sketched in expression.

Old Baggage

Old Baggage

The year is 08 all that segregation is closed
Black woman let random ish go to their head
There’s another white chick taking a good black man
But black man was trying to get at you last weekend
You turned him down, so he is supposed to wait for love?
If a white man turns his head
Your face turn red
Then you his black charm
So its okay for you to do it?
Later with that old baggage shit
This is not the 50’s love doesn’t have a color
If he fall in love with a different race pray for the brother
That his love goes deep
People gonna love until you wake up from your sleep
Because no one sweating you cause you think you all that
Happiness, open minded is where it’s at
See the canvas as plain
With all the colors of the rainbow, never washing away in the rain
I feel your black woman’s pain
So white girls make a plan to get a black man
Stop leaving him out there, stop playing
Get serious, if he serious about you
Got so much game with you
That’s why he never looked back at you
He was ready for the seriousness
A Sunday afternoon or a spring tryst
He wanted a chance at forever, not a club hit
Next week no one feeling it
He wanted Sunday brunch, Saturday picnic
Not arguments or a woman terrorist
That doesn’t have a color
Don’t carry the baggage of your ancestors hate
If you’re patient enough to wait
Then a colorless love will find you to
If you only stayed in one lane and then do you
The street is four lanes, none for loading
Love yourself first, love for others means no self loathing.

4play

4play

Stolen Kisses in the morning
Distracting you while secrets notes make it in your bag
"What’s better than sex when its pouring?"
A question you don’t have to ask
Your favorite breakfast at your desk
Everything how you like, don’t worry about the rest
Pink & green roses loiter in your office space
Man I love looks like these on your face
Anonymous text messages, "loving how you look in your shirt"
Nervously you flirt
You look sexy in those high heel boots
Making you hot all day took many recruits
Telling you how hot it would be to bend you over the desk
Slap that ass while you grab the arms rest
How about how hot it would be
If I got under your desk secretly
Make you get off
Until your panties get wet & soft
Until that day dream earned its cost

Around 2pm I want you to break
Touch yourself until your legs shake
Then stop
Got sex in your nose even if your panties drop
Rattle off all the sexy things you can do
On the table in the board room
Open a button your blouse for access
Nipple pinching, text sex is the best
You're all into this mess
Want me to walk up and grab your hair
Grab your pair
Escort you to the land of pleasure
We go up and come down together
Elevator rides and career suicide
Has you coming down in the bathroom stall
Legs weak you trying not to fall
Wobbling to the computer where you plan to stay
This is the game we play, I won today, 4play

A moment to dream

A moment to dream

I dreamed
Last night
That today
Never happened
You never left
Your eyes weren’t red
The baby wasn’t gone
Nothing was as it seemed
Our hands were clasped tight
Whispered words we say
We were laughing
To our selves
Only glances few words said
Because nothing was wrong
The day was like any other
You had the sun in your face
Me on your hips
And good morning kiss from my lips

Brooklyn

Brooklyn

On the street break dancer’s up rock
To “Breathe & stop”
On a cardboard box
A girl spins with total chaos
As the rugrats play tag & Double Dutch
Stick ball & starksy & hutch
Cans spray water freely
Sketch boys get ready for a throw up spree.
Trains ride pass everything still the same
Old school hustlers kick the youngins out the dice game
Gumby haircuts cross colors, and guess jeans
8 Ball & Bomber jackets were a broke kids dream
African medallions and “X” caps
“wassup son, where black at?”
On corner Bodega’s old ladies pass out fliers
Drug dealers get re-fills from suppliers
Starter Jackets, hat and champion jersey’s are in
Everybody got a fresh sneaker from Jordan
Wake up when Dorothy screamed “BROOKLYN”

Curious white girl

Curious white girl

She asks to transfer to the inner city school
People stare cause she a new fool
She walks cautiously through the halls
She wanted to see how the other half lived
Eventually got spoken to by a group of kids
“whats ya name, ya story, where ya live?”
Serenity, just move here, North West
They sized her up, tried to intimidate
She thinking “bitch don’t hate’
Trying to soak herself in she followed them around
Tried to jam to the African sounds
She asked so many questions
Left a curious impression
She wanted to be down so bad
She begged and begged her dad
For dollars for clothes
Curious white girl turned out & exposed
As a get wit, wanna be
Hoodie.

Master of the Heart

Masters of the universe, preasents to the heart
We Make love in poverty while we submit to the art
Words over yellow sheets of paper, ink from bar-b-que coal
We bringing in rain water to fill the toilet bowl
When the chips are down and no one else is there
I look to the side and see that you still here
We collaborate over moonlight baths and Summer Showers
We master each others domain, together we're the mega powers
Each thursdsay we get clean and show up to perform
daps, hugs and handshakes there we have it going on
No one knows our struggle for anything in the world
On this night we're the above average boy & girl
Just here to host and show the world we can make it
The world is ours we just have to take it.

As the words cross your plump lips and rest comfortable in my ears
They remind me of the first time I herd you speak those words into life
They startled and shook my peers
I knew I needed to have you as my wife
Your words beckoned me to seek you
Now my heart is yours and I've mastered yours to.

We

I remmeber when we turned each other on
I reached over to you and fumbled with your buttons
In an Instant you were born
The light shined in your eyes
The thoughts crept into my mind
Seemed like I knew you
Those noises you made in my ears when I would move
When my hands rubbed in your groove
You sat there now knowing what to do
I was feeling you vibrate at the bridge
We met at the conclusion
With our own mix of sweat, I called it sweet fusion
We are music and poetry

Fools Gold

Fools Gold

The Wise man spread his fingers so chnage a can fall in the spaces
The death of man was the seperation of races
By religion, colors, and creed
The same colors seeps from our pours when we bleed
Fools gold was place in the socialist society
Decided before there was an idea of me
Now we bend to our knee to pray to our GOd for relief in the economy
When we don't own dollars we pray for sense
Now pennies are more common than 25 cents
Fools gold is in trust of a power who is not real
They telling us who to fear and how we should feel
When true lies have dictated the path of the nation
Fools Gold has decided the worth of a nation
