The rip off
All we were suppose to get was 40 acers
And a mule but government are fakers
We built this land up and never compensated
Now they dead and we related
Can't we get what's promised in the word
Or haven't you ever herd
Of fair play
When ya'll do a job you want your dough
We wanted the land you pillages after using our woman as a hoe
For a good time then dump to the side
Now we want ours you run and hide
Cause you refuse to acknowledge you own writing
But want us to stop cussing and fighting
All your promises were a rip off for real
Just something to give us hope and you reneged on the deal
What about reperations? Arn't we owed that?
While in fields we labored on porches you sat
Eating our harvest, getting sloppy and fat
Litterally get paid off our backs and you don't care
Cause what's that time was so rare?
Nah cause you can't admit to being wrong
And singing the " My bad song"
So you lied to us cause our power was soft
Now we stronger and all know the government pulled a rip off
