Whispers in the court

Whispers in the court

Sometimes flying away is how it got to be
When love isn’t on time
But time is a mystery
So we stand on line
Playing on standard time

Speaking in the throne room
About the treaties I sign
Had to play my part
As I found moment sacred
Crossing my heart
That’s the motivation
Leading to elation
When you’re a fish out of water
It pays to buy patience
Or come up for air
Bubbles are now common knowledge
So why compare
To things I don’t know
Heart beats made of acid
Burning the cage of snow

So mention me
The passion and the pain
The wear and death
Visions drive me insane
I whisper my love to the last breathe
So now there’s no wonder
Which seasons she makes me
Winter or summer
The story has been told
Heart made of stone
Soul made of coal.
