Beauty Never Fades

Beauty never fades
When the ugliness of the world
Traps you
inside, unheard
As your screams barely get through

Your beauty never fades

I know you’re tired of facing endless days & nights
Where awake and sleep are ongoing fights
Where memories of past are like new experiences
The years are caching up, so are the expenses
You try, fight, shake, too weak to struggle
Even seeing another day break is a hustle

Your beauty never fades

No matter the strands of grey
The teeth lost
The less  you have to say
The amount medicine cost
How many tries
To focus with your eyes
The power you use to reach out to be heard
Take a moment to listen, hear my word
Blessings ran down in waves

Beauty never fades
No limited to skin deep
It resides on the inside
Bursting at the seams
Heavens gates painted in your dreams
As your heart moves to a flutter
Your spirit connects the bond
That’s no matter, time, place or age.

Beauty never fades
