Hip-Hop Nation

Welcome to the Nation of Hip-hop, where woman heart stop
Where money mysteriously drop, and homes are a stage prop
Welcome to New York City, Where cats migrate from Philly
On the daily, young moms pop up with a baby old drunks are crazy
Hip-hop a.k.a. the double H, where emcees dreams shatter and break
Like glass in hood stores. Battle on the street breed emcee wars.
Like reserves doing four separate tours of duty on the front lines
We ghetto representatives, but being black is the crime
Hip-hop was bred out of desperation, they demean cause they lack the real education
People who don’t understand the bloodshed, shirts covered in red
Blood of the fallen is on us all, a leader step forward we wait for your call
100,000 strong and still growing, no matter it’s snowing, the energy’s flowing
Marching strong, the message is carried all night long, sunrise they in Delaware
For the fair, preaching the message of unity, more realize this where they need to be
The group is united and on the march down to Baltimore, the crowd’s expectations soar
As the back story of HH I evident, the energy prevalent, they grow more
Strength in the core as the destination is in sight, they marching in the moonlight
The capitol grounds is open, at 200,000 a police riot gear invoking
Bu the demonstration is peaceful, proving we can co-exist, but they tried to resist
The group swelled to half a million by the end of the day, what more can they say?
The nation contained all types of people, but when it turns bad it’s black
But when money there white people, feel we know how to act, they got the financial push
Their voice is mush, with contract non-beneficial, they we not business minded just lyrical
Hip-hop is not just music, cars, clothes, and hoes. It’s lively hood, everything all good
So they think on the elimination is the brink, in our teeth we sink
To get to the meat of the matter, like when something go wrong they scatter
This is my ode to hip-hop and the nation, people up your education
Before you make a wrong judgment call, down your stock fall
Cause you pisssed the nation off, your presentation was soft, not representing
But off it’s back you making a living, actually making a killing
And looking past our station, prepares for the up rise of the hip-hop nation
