Secret Circle

Secret Circle

They make the world click
Spit on the sick
An get rich
President carry guns
While terrorist attacks
Rummaging through pension funds
While the white house is painted black
Police come to work to steal
Homeless beg for the first meal
Supper while AIDS patients suffer
Then die for a cure
Babies implanted, medicated, but pure?
The circles complete
We come out head first
Die off our feet
Another member joins the circle
Not by choice
They threaten his wife to stifle his voice
So where's the free press?
Dollars paid in duffle bags, no trace
Take orders from a raspy voice and no face
Politician line their pockets
We bet on the lottery, house notes, and stock markets
There's a secret circle in play
They make rules for us to follow
Live for today, no promises for tomorrow
Poor people die every day no one cares
Afraid to face their fears
It can happen to you to
You're not a part of the 2%
You knew
That's why all money you got, you spent
You were never in the secret battle to win
Circle is even more secret you're lost again.
