Never know about it

Never know about it

You may never know what the truth is
Avoiding telling me about your aspirations for kids
I see you and look into your eyes
Your history is behind them
Rolling down your cheek
I can feel it in your cries
We really want to end
Your lips quiver when you try and speak
Telling me your side of your story
Odd feelings of history
We break ground on the mystery
That we introduce into the pathway
I’m waiting to see what you have to say
You get quiet and say nothing more
Not sure what you got in store
You never knew about it the one what the name
Like yours but not exactly the same
Just a solute to the love that used to be
Between you and me
